Through the teaching practice I learned a lot of new things. I learned how to develop my teaching skills that make me an efficient teacher; also, I learned how to treat children in kindergarten, how to catch their attentions, how to create a positive atmosphere in which the students are eager to learn the new language, how to create activities in which they at the same time could have fun and learn, how to create material for the class, how to prepare lesson plans and how to give clear and simplest instructions to children.
A few months ago, I knew that I had to teach children in kindergarten. I was afraid because I did not have any idea how it was going to be and how I was going to teach. Now, I can say that this teaching practice helped me to learn things that at the beginning made me feel insecure. Nowadays, I know how to teach very young learners, because I learned what they like to learn, how they perform the activities, how they behave in the classroom and out of it, how to control them, and how to create interesting activities with them.
I learned that children learn in different ways based on that, I tough them the most important details more than once, I used a variety of approaches to suit their different learning styles.
I have learnt the importance of taking into account all the recommendation that I read in the book Teaching English to Children because it helped me to learn strategies and activities that I could performed with my students.
I consider that I did a good job in my teaching practice because all my students learned what I tough to them. I never thought that I could deal the teaching to kindergarten students. I did it and I did it well. I tried to focus on creating a good atmosphere and a good rapport in every class that I tough. Also, I did effective and enjoyable activities to make my students learned and enjoyed the class.

During this course, I have learned a lot. I had some incredible
experiences teaching children. Now, I have some experience teaching children
that is not a easy thing to do. I learned a lot about the children’s behavior,
what things I have to do and what things I don’t have to do. Also I learned how
to create a good teaching atmosphere, how to make teaching activities according
to the topic that we are teaching, how to face different kinds of situations in
the classroom. I realized that we have to teach English playing in this level,
it’s the principal way of teaching English to children. We have to think as a
child and think about what they really need to learn, for that, we have to
create very creative strategies of teaching English. Children have to feel that
we are interested in their learning, they have to feel that we love them, and
that we are friends of them. To finish I have learned a lot in this course
reading very interesting books related to learning and teaching English,
now I know new vocabulary and knowledge
related to didactics for example, nests-non nests, how to communicate with
low-learners, etc.
Well, this is the beginning of my teaching practices,
and I know that I have to improve a lot of aspects that I hope to reach with
the time and experience. I want to be a better teacher because I want to give
the best of me to the Salvadorian society.

I consider, teaching practice was a nice experience that I lived. I
had never thought teaching was something very interesting that could
teach me a lot. And let me know how interact with children.
Sometimes
we don’t know our own abilities and only passing by the things, you
learn and know how much able you are to make new things. If you don’t
take risk to know something new; you would never be what you could be.
And you never are going to be capable to face with challenges.
Teaching
practice helped me in many ways. It feels comfortable to know that
people can learn of you. It feels really nice to know that you can be an
example that children can follow. And that made me feel with a big
desire to learn more and more. And I wish one day I could teach in my
job.
I have been thinking in how life can give you opportunities.
And as a result, I want to say that teaching someone is more than just
have a profession, is more than be a professional.
Teach is a big opportunity to make a chance in the other’s life.
At
this level and as my first experience teaching I know I don’t have all
the tools that I need and I know that the way I have to continue to be a
good teacher is too long. But I don’t want to be just a simple teacher.
I want to make a difference and I’m preparing myself to pass in that
large way.

I really learned a lot on this semester, I did not know how to teach children.
In
class, we learned the best ways to teach children, we learned that it
is difficult because some of them can not read and write. So we learned
some methods for teaching children, now I can use songs, stories and
games to teach English to children.
I did not know how to teach in the classroom and with this practices I could try how is really to give classes.
A
learned many things giving classes: for example I already know that I
have to be funny for children to learn more because they learn more if
they enjoy the class.
Now, I know children are very intelligent and they can learn English even if they are five or six years old.
I learned what to do for giving classes.
