TVYL EFL practice is more than that because we have to develop the necessaries abilities to become efficient teachers. It helps us to learn how to use and how to take advantages of those abilities in order to improve our teaching skills and in that way we are becoming good teachers. We as a future teacher have the responsibility to teach in the best way possible and make our students feeling comfortable in the classroom.
This teaching practice is a good source of knowledge not only for students but also for us because this practice it is about learning and improving our teaching skills. It is important to mention, that we as future teachers have to develop different skills like singing, drawing, telling, stories, be funny etc. those skills will help us to teach children in a good way because students learn more if they enjoy the class.
Something that we have to take into account is that children see the foreign language from the inside and they try to find the meaning in how the language is used in action and in interaction with others. Also they have more characteristic that we have to know like they need multi-sensory experiences, their first language is still developing rapidly. Based on that we have to create a good class atmosphere in which they can have enjoyable, meaningful topics and full of practice.
One thing that it is important TVYL EFL practice is that we learn from our students because it a process in which students learn as teacher as well. Something that we could learn from students is, that we could see what they like and how they perform the activities that we try in classes.
Now, we as a teachers, we have an idea of how will be behavior of the kindergartners We are aware of what they feel attract and what makes a motivation on them. We have to improve those things in the kindergartners in a way of teaching English in a better way.
